CHAPTER I
CHAPTER I
I was born in 1991 and I am Italian-Swiss.
At nineteen, I graduated with honors in Physics. Soon afterward, I began the most important journey of my life: becoming a mother.
I chose to devote my most precious years to raising my children, without ever stopping reading, observing, and writing. Words have been part of me since childhood. They have never been a hobby.
They are simply the way I understand the world, and the way I try to communicate with it.

CHAPTER II
In high school, my highest grades came from literature essays. Yet it was there that I learned one of life’s earliest lessons: quality does not always earn the highest marks. Sometimes, success depends on knowing how to stay within someone else’s lines.
Like the ruled margins of an exam paper.
My son, on the other hand, never learned how to stay inside those margins. For years I thought it was something he needed to overcome. Today, I think it may be one of his greatest strengths.
Perhaps not everyone is meant to fit the space they are given.
Some people are born to imagine a larger page.

CHAPTER III
CHAPTER III
I have loved, I have lost, I have dreamed, and I continue to dream.
Every experience eventually finds its way into my books, not because I write about my life, but because writing is how I make sense of life itself.
I don’t write to entertain.
I write to start conversations.
Stories allow us to see the world through another person’s eyes. They remind us that certainty is fragile, that humanity is beautifully complicated, and that every answer is simply the beginning of another question.
My decision to self-publish grew from that same belief.
Over the years, I watched the publishing world shift its attention from books to personalities. Too often, authors are judged by the size of their audience before anyone has read a single page. Some manuscripts are rejected without ever being opened. Others receive offers that ask writers to pay for publication, or contracts that fail to honor the royalties they have earned.
There are publishers who still believe deeply in literature, and I respect them greatly. But my own experiences led me to choose a different path.

That path became the Tide Chronicles.
That path became the Tide Chronicles.
Like my children, it was born from love, patience, sleepless nights, and the quiet conviction that something fragile deserved to exist.
I conceived it, nurtured it, and brought it into the world myself, from the first sentence to the final cover, from editing and formatting to publication and promotion. Like some of nature’s extraordinary hermaphroditic creatures, I carried both creation and birth within the same body. Not because I wanted to do everything alone, but because I wanted every decision to remain faithful to the stories I was telling.
Today I write novels and poetry.
I write because stories allow us to see the world through another pair of eyes.
If one of mine leaves you with a question, a new perspective, or simply the feeling that you are a little less alone, then every page has been worth writing.

Because I have never been interested in fitting inside someone else’s lines.
I’d rather write my own.
